WFY-GPP2Discover the perfect blend of slow-building challenge and nurturing depth in our Gentle Vinyasa classes at Wisdom Flow Yoga Studio.  Taught by Ariana Hornkohl, RYT 500 these classes begin with breath and intention followed by gentle warm up sequences that bring fluidity to the spine and evoke support from the core.  Without realizing it, you’ll find yourself transitioning into standing poses that you feel well-prepared for.  Focused core work followed by standing balances or wall-supported inversions bring the class to its peak.  Feeling cleansed, strong, and satisfied, students slide into hip openers, shoulder openers, supported back bends and supine spinal twists before enjoying a rejuvenating savasana (deep relaxation pose).

Web-Port-ArianaAriana is an accomplished Hula dancer as well as an experienced Yoga Teacher.  She brings inspirational philosophy reminders to her classes often reading from ancient texts as students hold hip opening poses.  Her sequencing makes the class feel like a moving meditation and inner cleansing.  You will feel both soothed and invigorated in these uplifting Gentle Vinyasa classes.
