Eddy Marks
A trained exercise physiologist from UCLA, Eddy has taught yoga for cardiac rehabilitation as well as anatomy and physiology for yoga students.
4 decades of searching practice helps him to convey Guruji’s illuminating teachings with clarity, insight and progressive refinement.
At Geetaji’s request he wrote the book B.K.S. Iyengar: Archive Project 2007. He is co-writing writing a book Guruji called Hidden Wisdom of Iyengar Yoga.
Mary Obendorfer
Mary was one of the few people from around the world to attend the invitation only Back Bend intensive given directly by Mr. Iyengar. She also worked with Dr. Mary Schatz in India documenting the therapeutic yoga that Mr Iyengar is so famous for.
